This is an initial visit where we can discuss your requirements and the services that we can offer, including examples of current works. As a local business we are well known and therefore can offer good references. This is a free of charge service.
When we are instructed to design your garden the process starts with a survey for the creation of a detailed scale plan together with measurements. We also make notes on soil type, orientation, microclimate and any other observations that may have a bearing on the design of the garden.
Using the notes taken at the initial consultation and the survey details we begin to construct a concept design. One or more designs together with 3D imagery are presented for discussion and changes are made until you are completely satisfied with the design.
The master plan is the final scaled drawing and will show all the main features of your new garden. Depending on your requirements, section/evaluation and other perspective drawings may be included on the plan, as is colour detailing.
Whereas the master plan shows the structural design of the garden, the planting plan shows details and positioning of the plants themselves.
